Największy włoski tygodnik katolicki “Famiglia Cristiana” w ostrych słowach wystąpił przeciwko ministrowi spraw wewnętrznych Roberto Maroniemu nazywając “rasistowską” i “nieprzyzwoitą” jego propozycję pobierania odcisków palców od dzieci romskich podczas spisu powszechnego w obozowiskach Romów w całym kraju. – Najpierw jednak odciski palców parlamentarzystów i ich dzieci – postuluje sarkastycznie poczytne katolickie pismo w najnowszym numerze.

The Demonstration

On the 29th March a demo against U.S. missile base in Poland took place in Slupsk (northern Poland). More about the demo: http://www.tarcza.org and http://www.m29.bzzz.net.

Huge police forces were mobilized before the demo. Few days before the demonstration, policemen intruded on the demonstration organizers asking about the details of the protest and were trying to intimidate them. During the demo itself, where from 500 to 800 people took part, the police was not offensive. The police units were not visible, that’s why the demonstration was peaceful. At the square where the hydepark took place, there was a big police car with video cameras.

During an “open meeting” with John Kerry (former candidate for USA president) at the University of Florida, a student, Andrew Meyer, asked him about the falsification of elections in Florida for the 2004 presidential election. Six officers brutally pulled Meyer from the microphone after his 90 seconds of questions to Kerry, and since he resisted, threw him to the ground and tasered him. The taser is becoming more and more controversial, since despite it’s so-called “safe disabling”, in the USA and Canada a few hundred people have already died from the effects of tasering. Der Vorwurf der Mitgliedschaft in einer terroristischen Vereinigung sowie die Konstruktion von Verdachtsmomenten lediglich auf Grundlage von publizierten Artikeln stehen angesichts der Tatbestandslage die Einhaltung von elementaren Bürger- und Menschenrechten in Frage.
