Palestyna (Focus)
A demonstration for solidarity for Palestine took place in front of a cinema multiplex of the Israeli corporation Cinema City International/Rev-Hen in Torun from 18:00-19:00. About 20 demonstrators were present. This pamphlet was distributed to passers-by. The demonstration took place peacefully without any incidents by police or security guards.

Many may say that this is strange or outright weird, but the message was clear and strong, “This is our land and we have the right do as we want on it … even play football…” This was the statement made by Abdullah, one of the leaders of the Popular Committee to Resist the Wall in Southern Bethlehem when asked to comment on this week’s protest in the village of Um Salamona south of Bethlehem.
