Route: Rynek Nowomiejski, Browarna, Piernikarska, Św. Jakuba, Wola Zamkowa, Leona Szumana, Wały Gen. Sikorskiego, Mickiewicza, Reja, Bydgoska, Bulwar Filadelfijski, Żeglarska, Rynek Staromiejski
The ride will be protected by police and city guards as well as the Medical Lifesavers’ Group of Toruń Red Cross
Mickiewicza Street is not just for cars!!
... The aim of our gathering:
- Bringing attention to the lack of consideration for cyclists in the planned renovation of Mickiewicza Street in Toruń
- Pointing out the needs for more serious attention to the development of cycling infrastructure by the local administrative units, in this case especially the Toruń Roads Authority (Miejski Zarząd Dróg w Toruniu)
- Promoting the bicycle as an all-year means of urban travel.
- Bringing attention to the needs of cyclists as road users with full rights
- Promoting the bicycle as a healthy and ecological means of transport
- Bringing attention to the lack of responsible promotion of cycling by city authorities as a means of transport solving many transport problems such as traffic jams, air pollution and noise.
