Inauguration of the 2007/8 academic year – Nicolaus Copernicus University

As the president of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus said (translation) while accepting his Doctorate honoris causa today, ,,Don’t be afraid to think, don’t be afraid to express those thoughts, don’t be afraid to defend the truth and – what’s most important – don’t be afraid to turn those thoughts into actions”, Toruń activists were not afraid to protest during Polish president Lech Kaczyński’s speech. The themes of the protest were:
