IMC MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA – DRAFT

Each IMC and Global Working Group is expected to:

a. Agree in spirit to the NIMC MissionStatement and PrinciplesOfUnity,

We have met locally face-to-face in open, public meetings in Toruń nearly every week since then, during the first year there were usually just 2-3 people in each meeting, and during the last two years, we were usually between 8 and 20 people at nearly every meeting. Prepare the translation.
Click on Settings (top-right)
- Click on Enable advanced interface
Go to the original article, click on Reply
- Add your translated title and content, but do not yet publish them.
- Check that the Language of the message, i.e. the language of your translation, is correctly chosen. (If you can’t find this, try doing point 2., then come back and refresh the page.)
- You could (but you don’t have to) also choose the option Editing is open for all members so that others will be able to correct errors in your translation (wiki)

everyone can participate in decision making to the extent that s/he would be affected by that decision (cf http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/parecon)
the indymedia collective only exists as non-hierarchical cooperation between volunteers as long as consensus exists – nobody can be forced to do anything
genuine communication and attempts at understanding are important components of decision making

W spotkaniu 23.04.2007r., możemy zrobić odpowiedzi do PRYNCYPIA JEDNOŚCI i Kryteria uczestnictwa w IMC i osoby dla kontakt z sieci mogą się zapisywać na grupach dyskusyjnych DONE
Według metoda podejmowania decyzji dla ważnych decyzji, musi być minimum 10 dni dla dyskusji i potem 7 dni dla testu konsensusu. Więc kalendarz może być np:
tygodniu 23-27.04.2007 – cały dokumentów przygotowanych jako propozycję formalną, drukowany np 30-50 kopii, dystrybuowany w Pod Aniołem i w innych miejscach, z kalendarzem np. DONE
wt 24.04.2007- pt 4.05.2007 – fazy propozycja + dyskusja = 10 dni
pt 5 – sob 12.05.2007 – test konsensusu
potem przez new-imc + imc-process byłby minimum 10 dni dla akceptowania w sieci
W przypadku brak ważnej kontrowersji, akceptowany będziemy ok. 21 maja.

We have participated in indymedia since the start of IMC Poland four years ago. We have met locally face-to-face in open, public meetings in Toruń nearly every week since then, during the first year there were usually just 2-3 people in each meeting, and during the last two years, we were usually between 8 and 20 people at nearly every meeting. We have published about 130 articles concerning Toruń on the web pages of IMC PL. Not every article is about an action, but most are, and this means that we have done and published for the benefit of Toruń and other polish-speaking activists an action about twice every month.
